Mata Bichos Lda is a company based in Pemba, northern Mozambique.  We are your Mozambican distributor for Insect Shield® apparel and gear.  The words 'Mata Bichos' in Portuguese literally means 'kill the insects'.

Mata Bichos was set up in 2013 in response to demand for insect repellent clothing.  Local businesses are seeing the benefits - better health and increased productivity.  National and ex-pat recruits working in the oil and gas industry have peace of mind knowing that their everyday clothing gives them the protection they need.

The Directors of the company (two English ladies) have lived in Pemba for over 10 years and know the business environment well.  We've created local employment and we are contributing to malaria awareness programmes that make a difference to the local population
